Jennifer
Meredith, LCSW
Director
Jennifer joined CHI in 2006 as a contact worker doing
Home Screenings and Post-Adoption visits for families in
the Houston area.
Jennifer Meredith earned her BS in Social Work from
Abilene Christian University. She obtained her MSSW in
Social Work from the University of Texas and is
currently a LCSW. Jennifer previously worked with
children in foster care, and desired to help children
find permanent homes. She has worked in the adoption
field since 2004. Working with adoptive families has
enriched Jennifer’s life as she is able to be a small
piece of the puzzle of families coming together through
adoption. Jennifer and her husband have one son and a
baby daughter.
Jennifer enjoys spending time with her family, as well
as reading, and being outdoors.

Dawn
Bartlett
Outreach Coordinator, Northern Texas
Dawn is the part-time Outreach
Coordinator for Texas. She and her husband, Richard have
six adopted children ages 8-14. Dawn is a tireless
advocate for adoption. She and her family have been
featured in several articles regarding adoption in West
Texas. As Dawn put it in one of the article " we are an
ordinary family made in an extraordinary way." Dawn
started out as a CHAPS volunteer and has been active in
helping many families in Texas realize their dreams of
adoption. Dawn graduated from Texas Tech in Lubbock.
Chances are you will talk to Dawn during the adoption
process. Her major roll is to follow up with all
families from inquiry to application. She is happy to
answer any questions you might have.

Amanda Peart
Outreach
Coordinator, Dallas Fort Worth
Amanda is the Outreach
Coordinator for the DFW and East Texas regions. Amanda
and her husband, Richard adopted a son from Russia in
November 2005. Amanda has been sharing her adoption
journey with Children's Hope families since returning
from Russia as a CHAPS volunteer, before becoming an
Outreach Coordinator.
Amanda received her Bachelor’s degree from the
University of North Texas. Her career has been focused
on teaching and helping children. "I feel so privileged
to be a part of Children’s Hope International and to be
able to serve and share my adoption experience with
others."
Chances are you will talk to Amanda during the beginning
stages of the adoption process. Her major roll is to
follow up with all families from inquiry to application.
She is happy to answer any questions you might have.

Jackie
Ward, LCSW
Contract Social
Worker
Jackie joined CHI in 2005 as a contract Social Worker
doing Home Screenings and Post-Adoption visits for
families in the DWF area.
Jackie has worked with adoptive parents Since 1998. she
was drawn to the field of adoption because of the desire
to assist in finding home for children in need of
parents. "There are so many children in need and it is
such a blessings to be a part of bring children to safe
and loving homes."
Jackie graduated from the University of North Texas with
a Bachelors Degree in Social Work and obtained a Masters
of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas
in Arlington. Her social work experience also includes
medical social work and work in the area of domestic
violence.

Laura
Small, BSW
Contract Social
Worker
Laura joined CHI in 2005
as a contract Social Worker doing Home Screenings and
Post-Adoption visits for families in the DWF area.
Laura Small first became
interested in the adoption field at a young age after
growing up with many foster children. She has been
employed in the adoption field for 16 years. She
considers herself very lucky to work in such a wonderful
field and finds great satisfaction in assisting children
and families. Laura is the proud mother of a 7-year-old
girl, Payton and a brand new baby boy. She enjoys
skiing, scrap booking and spending time with her
extended family.

Rebecca
Clark, MS LPC, NCC
Contract Social
Worker
Rebecca joined CHI in October 2006 as a contact social
worker working with families helping prepare Home
Screenings and Post-Adoption report for families in the
DFW area.
Adoption has always been a part of Rebecca's life. She
was adopted as an infant and has always desired to
enrich other family's live through adoption as hers has
been.
Rebecca graduated from University of Texas-Arlington
with a Bachelors in Psychology. She obtained her Masters
Degree in Counseling from Amberton University and is
currently a Licensed Professional Counselor, holding
credentials as a National Certified Counselor. Rebecca
has four years experience in Foster Care, Domestic
adoption and Adoption Counseling. We are happy to have
her as part of the CHI- TEXAS Team!

Kristen
Tittle
Contract Social
Worker - Dallas
Kristen joins CHI as a
contract social worker for the DFW area, doing Home
Screenings and Post-adoption reports for adoptive
families.
Kristen has been involved
in adoption and foster care since 1999. She loves being
a part of enriching families and walking them through
the process of adoption. She has a Bachelor's degree in
psychology and earned a Masters Degree in Counseling
from Dallas Baptist University. She is currently a
Licensed Professional Counselor and a Level One worker
in the field of adoption and foster care.
Kristen and her husband
have been married for 12 years and have one daughter.
She likes to exercise, read, play the piano, sew and
spend time with her family.
