Our girls are
twins from Nanning, Guangxi Province. They are 2 years old
and we celebrated our first family day on May 9th.

Time
flies when you have children. Everyday I wake up and I
thank God for Ryan. I know God brought Ryan to us. It
could not have happened without your help. I just want
to thank Children’s Hope. Without you, Ryan would not be
with his family. I believe we are his real family, we
just happened to be separated for a short period of
time.
Ryan is a
thriving little boy. He loves music. He loves to play
the drums and piano. He says he is going to be in a band
one day. I believe he will. He starts preschool this
year. He can’t wait. He is so excited about school.
He loves to be around other children. He told me the
other day I needed to pray to God so God could bring him
a playmate. I told him God had plans and we will just
have to wait and see what they are.

Just thought I'd
send a photo of the first mother-child tea for Anthony and
me put on by the North Alabama FCC. It's been 10 months
since Gotcha Day and he's doing great. When I look back at
the photos that were sent to me this time last year, it's
amazing to see the difference between the flat affect in his
face then and the joy and happiness he has now. He has quite
the personality and is very happy. |

My 2nd
Mothers Day was wonderful!! Emma Grace is such a joy
and a blessing!! She is doing very well. She talks all
the time and is learning so much every day. She is
growing up so fast, but we are enjoying every minute of
it.
Thanks for
all you do for the children and for the families who are
blessed to have them!!

Everyone was right
when they told us that two are more than double the work
- but more than double the love and enjoyment, too!
We took the kids to Chattanooga on Saturday to ride the
train. What a treat that was - their eyes were as big
as saucers when the train came right up to the station
in front of us and blew its whistle!
Luke also experienced a swimming pool for the first time
this weekend. People probably thought I was pinching
him because he squealed so loudly the first time his
bare skin touched that cold, cold water. He wanted
nothing whatsoever to do with that it - until he
realized he could splash people! So much for my
keeping my hair dry!
Have
a great summer - we will, I'm sure!

The
doctor's visit went well today. He said that she looked
great and was doing really well. She's 16lbs 12oz!!
She's
really coming out of her shell at home. She's very busy
and determined. We see all kinds of progress daily and
I'm almost afraid to report what she's doing today for
fear that it will be "old news" or "SO yesterday" by
tomorrow.

Ben's doing great! Learning new things every
day! Talked a lot today! (Vietnamese, but
talking is still good!) Can't get very good
pictures because he moves too fast!!
Thanks for uniting our family! We are totally in love!!

I just had to
send you some recent photos of our precious gift from God,
Mackenzie. She is growing with every day and is
perfect in every way. Today Mackenzie and I attended a
"Mommy's appreciation day" with her little playgroup.
All the children made prints of their sweet hands and
attached a beautiful Mommy's day poem ... however Mackenzie
said "feet Mommy ok" ... and so we did her feet instead of
her hands ... it was one of a kind just like our girl!!!
What a beautiful day for me and I owe it all to you for
helping me to reach my dream of a lifetime ... Motherhood.
My wonderful
husband asked me tonight what I wanted for Mom's Day ... I
simply looked at Mackenzie and said I already have it all!!!
