Just wanted
to send a quick update. We are settling in to our new
home in Louisiana. Izzie will be starting Pre-K in the
Fall and is growing up so fast. Everyday I look at her
and thank God and Children's Hope International for
bringing us together.

She has done so well. Thanks so much for helping
me bring this wonderful blessing into our home.

Gracie's
artwork was selected to be in the Williamson County
Schools Art Show at the Frist Center downtown! This
past Saturday they had a reception for all of the
students, family and friends. We are so proud of her!

Danna Faith is 4
now and continues to bless our family beyond anything we
could have imagined. She is waiting patiently to go
and get her little sister in China. We will forever be
grateful to the good Lord and to CHI for the adoption of our
amazing angel in 2004.

April is
Church Outreach Month
Inform your church about the great need to support
orphans through sponsorships, humanitarian gifts, and
adoption. If you have a heart for orphans and want
to share your passion with your church, Children's Hope
will provide you with the materials you need to develop
others' awareness of adoption, orphan sponsorship, and
other humanitarian aid projects. Please contact
Michelle Howdeshell for a church packet. She can
be reached by phone at 888-899-2349 or via e-mail at
churchoutreach@childrenshope.net. Let's wake
our churches up to the reality of orphans worldwide and
enable them to experience God's heart for these little
ones!

Message from Brenda Barker...
 Yes,
I am a new MOM!!
The trip to Ethiopia to
receive our newest daughters was one of the best experiences of my life.
The team in Ethiopia is so gracious, kind, and hospitable. I am
totally in love with Ethiopia, their people, and the children!!
I did not meet a child at our House of Hope that I was not totally
smitten by!! They are all totally wonderful!! And,
while I am on the subject of children, let me tell you that my newest
two daugthers, Izzie and Kate are totally wonderful!! They have
adjusted so well to us that it is really amazing and nothing short of a
miracle. Thanks for all of your prayers for our family.
I am back in the office
and ready to help make your dreams of adding to your family a reality as
well!! I absolutely know the fear and the thrill of adoption, and
I am here to support you any way that I can!! My door is always
open....
