OPERATION
HOPE RETURNS TO TENNESSEE!!
Operation Hope comes to
Nashville, TN in mid-June 2005!
A group of eight to 10
school-age orphans from Russia will arrive here to spend three weeks of
their summer vacations with host families who are seriously interested in
adopting them. It is still not too
late to sign up to participate in this wonderful program to host and then
adopt an older child. Or, if you do not plan to adopt but
would like to help us bring the children to the US to find their forever
families, you can make a donation to Children's Hope Foundation. Since 2000,
CHI hosted 140 older children through Operation Hope and 133 have been
adopted as a result of this program. For more information please e-mail
Tanya@childrenshopeint.org.

THE CHARTIER FAMILY, LA (China)
We have been busy
settling into new routines as a forever family. As Matalyne is our first
child, it has been and continues to be a learning experience for Keith and
I. We are all very happy.
She
did check out completely healthy by the pediatrician, eye doctor and
dentist. Bonding and attachment does not seem to be an issue either.
Matalyne loves her new parents, especially "ma ma ma ma". She is not
selfish with her smiles, that is for sure. She
is just starting to walk now, too.
I cannot express well
enough, our gratitude to Children's Hope for helping us achieve this dream
of becoming parents. Although the paperwork and waiting will always seem to
take forever, the process really was smooth and seemless. The process, the
travel and the absolutely wonderful support, both here and in China were
wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Matalyne is a
beautiful, healthy, and happy child, we adore her.

As I sit
in our office on March 1, I watch the beautiful snow fall! I am looking
forward to Spring and warmer days though. Whether rain, sleet, or snow, it
is always a great time to bring a child home!
We don't want to
burden you with a lot of information, but we do want to help you if you
are looking for a way to adopt. If not, please let us know and we will
regretfully remove your name from our newsletter. E-mail me at my
address below with any question you have.
I would love
