My Ethiopian Adoption

It is always amazing to
see God REALLY move in
your life….and I can
tell you each and every
time God has had to move
us into His plan, or we
would not have adopted
nine children!!
Usually, our route to
adoption involves
fasting, prayer, and
miraculous signs. . .
this was ABSOLUTELY the
case this time! From
random strangers,
television shows, and
even all of our family’s
support . . . to healthy
physicals, a new job for
my husband with adoption
benefits, and God’s
provision of the
finances! I could go on
and on, but for some
reason God spoke in our
hearts to go to Ethiopia
. . . and there is no
better place to be than
where God calls.

I can't say enough
positive things about
Ethiopia and the
adoption processes going
on there.
Families that
are in the
process of
deciding from
which country to
adopt should do
research about
the options
available. For
Brett and me,
the research
process caused
us to be awed by
Ethiopia long
before we met
Helena Beza.
Every country
has a wealth of
national history
and culture, and
now that our
daughter has
joined our
family we get to
be part of that,
and share that
with her.

think the program is
terrific and have
reaped the benefits
of a child who was
fully prepared to be
adopted, for which I
give Tsegay
(full-time
bi-lingual CHI
representative in
Ethiopia)
and his staff a lot
of credit.
