From our Families...

Happy Spring to all of our Northeast families!

We know you'll thoroughly enjoy the following spring pictures provided
by some of our very special adoptive families here in the Northeast.

The Andreo family (NY) prepares to celebrate Memorial Day in two ways:  the traditional US holiday honoring our country and those who have served her; and the one-year anniversary of their daughter, Victoria, coming home from Russia.  Congratulations!

Ronny Wilton just came home from Russia in January to his forever home in Staten Island, NY.  Here he is with mom, Carolyn, participating in his very favorite spring activity!

Liam Nichols came home to his forever family in Laurel, DE in January! He's quickly learned the art of egg hunting!

Liam enjoys swinging in the sun on a warm spring day!

Aidan Bain (Washington, DC), home from Vietnam in December, celebrates his first birthday with Dad!

Alex Stoerger (Hazlet, NJ), adopted from Russia
in 2004, gets ready for his very first t-ball game!

Alex Van Vooren, of East Fallowfield, PA, enjoys spring with his pooch. Alex came home to PA from Russia last May!

Arlena Bourque came home to her family in Sturbridge, MA from Russia in October 2006. She looks very competitive hunting those Easter eggs!

Duy Bandeston cools off with an icy pop on a hot spring day! Duy lives with his mom in New York City, and came home from Vietnam in September 2006.

Riley French and big sister Wendy, adopted from China in 2004 and 1996 respectively, give a beautiful pose at their home in Yorktown Heights, NY.

Hannah Karim came home to her forever family in Poughkeepsie, NY from China in 2004. She brings a basket-full of joy to Mom and Dad with her basket-full of Easter eggs!

Jadyn and Jaime Lin Jeffers (Havre de Grace, MD), adopted from China, celebrate Easter with (believe it or not) their nieces!  It's a long story...

JiaLi Madden celebrates Easter with her four siblings in Milford, MA. She came home from China in November 2005.

Kristina McGraw of Washington, DC plays with her dogs, Clara and Scarlett. Kristina came home from Russia in 2002, and grows more beautiful each year.

Heather and Brittany Mazzi, of Greenwood Lake, NY, smile for their mom on Easter.  Heather, now 11, was adopted from China at 6 months of age and Brittany, now 8, was adopted from China at 13 months.  It's wonderful to see how these beautiful girls have blossomed over the years!

The Schumachers enjoy a stroll on the beach on Easter.  From Little Falls, NJ, they brought their handsome son Mychal home from Russia just in time for Christmas!

Rebecca Harelick came home from China in October to her home in Denville, NJ.  She's a big girl now, turning a whopping 2 years old!

Here's the Imsho family from Staten Island, NY enjoying a spring day together.  Jia Li came home two years ago to her loving parents from China.

Two years ago Jia Li became a part of our family. We flew to China on May 17th and on May 23, 2005 Jia Li was given to us to make our forever family. It seems strange for two reasons…. First it was like only yesterday that we were in China and making our way to the adoption center… I can remember the waiting (two minutes) that seemed like hours… I remember our eyes meeting and whispering to her that we had waited a long time for her to come to us. The second thing is that as it is only two years… it seems like Jia Li has been here forever… We are truly blessed to have such a wonderful child.

We could not image our lives without her…. And in the same respect we think what did we do before getting her? Jia Li is our treasure and we do just that... TREASURE her.

And so on the GOTCH YA DAY of MAY 23, 2005 it is that day we became a forever family. Since that day Jia Li has become an amazing little person… her insights, her thoughts, her words and her love have grown day after day. Jia Li has helped us become better people…. So join us in saying a special thank you prayer to God for giving us a wonderful little girl with a heart of gold…

Many hugs!
Marybeth

Anna Ocheretyansky performs with her singing group "Surprise" at a children's festival.  Anna was adopted from Tomsk, Russia in 2003, and has grown into quite a lovely, talented young lady!  She lives in Fair Lawn, NJ with her proud parents.

Anjolene and Summer Johnson (Flemington, NJ) enjoy a day at the beach in May! (Right)

Sydnie Streek (Schenevus, NY) is a true nature lover.
