Will we accept your check for CHI Foundation’s Helping Hands efforts? Sure! We would love to receive your gift. Such outright gifts are always welcomed. These gifts may be specially designated or may be unrestricted. Unrestricted gifts offer CHI Foundation flexibility and the opportunity to use the funds where they are most needed at any one point in time.

There are also other ways to support the mission of CHI Foundation. Have you considered these methods?

¨      Give online through the CHI Web site and use your credit card. We have linked to Network for Good, which will process online gifts and transfer the funds to our Foundation. Our Foundation pays no processing or credit card charges and 100% of your gift is transferred to us and is used to help the children.

¨      Make a gift through a bequest. You can include CHI Foundation as a beneficiary in your will, a trust or other planned gift. Such a planned gift may be of any amount. Please contact Lynn Raney in the Foundation Office in St. Louis if this is of interest to you.

¨      Make a gift of appreciated securities. Making a gift of stock can offer you special tax benefits. CHI Foundation can accept these gifts at any time. Please call the Foundation Office for transfer information.

¨       Take advantage of your employer’s matching gift program. Many employers will match the gifts of employees. Some will match retired employees’ gifts and others will match gifts made by spouses of employees. Just check with your benefits office at work and ask for a matching gift form. Send this form with your gift or mail it to the Foundation Office after making a gift online. What a great way to double or even triple your support!

¨      Pledge your support over a period of time. If you want to make a major gift, but are not comfortable with writing a check for the entire amount, you may pledge an amount for a specific purpose and give over the course of the year or even more. Pledge forms are available through the Foundation Office or simply send your first gift with an explanation that it is the first of a pledge for a particular amount.
