Roy and Della Shaw have been my steadfast friends since the late 1960's when we first discovered our friendship in Toronto. They have played a great role behind our work in the beginning and throughout the 10 years of CHI. They believed in me and our work before Children's Hope was even born in 1992, with their support and encouragement. It gave me the greatest satisfaction to give them the plaque from Children's Hope at our 10 year anniversary party in Chicago which read: In Recognition of their Encouragement and Support in the founding of Children's Hope International.

 

They are servants of the Lord and do not seek honor, but in the Lord's name, I say from the bottom of our hearts, "Thank you Roy and Della for all you have done and all that you are.” —Dwyatt Gantt
