One of the great joys of working with adoptive
families is being in an ongoing relationship with people who have hearts and
passion for creating adoption awareness. Over the years many wonderful
adoptive families from all over the U.S. have volunteered to help others where
they live, to help them discover the wonderful world of adoption.
Children's Hope is now actively recruiting
volunteer families in every state who want to become involved and fulfilled in
something that makes a wonderful difference in people's lives. Are you
interested?
CHI Associate Partners requirements:
1. Need to be an enthusiastic, positive
advocate of adoption and an adoptive parent.
2. Willing to represent CHI as a family
with experience in adoption in your state / area.
a. Hold
information meetings in your area.. which will be featured on the CHI
website.
b.
Receive calls from inquirers in your area who are wanting more information.
c. Work
closely with the CHI office in your state / area.
1 ) Identify the best home-study agencies in your state for CHI adoptive
applicants.
2 ) Advise how CHI can best serve the people of your state.
All expenses for information meetings, car
expenses, materials, telephone calls, etc will be reimbursed, and other
considerations. Training will be given.
You would be working with the Director of one of the CHI
regional offices for overall, ongoing direction and details. Many of our full-time
offices in certain states are now directed by adoptive families who started as
volunteers.
