New Arrival information in CHI newsletter

Upon your return from China, we will put your name and your child's name in the new arrivals section of our newsletter if we have received your signed Release Form.  If you have any questions about us listing names in the newsletter, please let us know. 

CHI will send you a Post-Adoption Guide that will be address the following:

• Post-Placement Reports

• Medical and Health Issues

• State Birth Certificates

• Social Security Cards

• Citizenship

• Proof of Citizenship

• Federal Tax Credit

• Child's Health Insurance-Apply for your child's health insurance coverage within 30 days of placement.  You may want to talk to your Health Insurance Company before traveling to arrange for application forms to complete upon your return. The Insurance Company will require a copy of the adoption certificate to add your child to your policy.
