VIETNAM PROGRAM UPDATES
New Parents Join Large and Excited
Travel Groups to Complete Their Vietnamese Adoptions
Seven Children?s Hope families are
currently traveling to Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam to meet their
children and finalize their Vietnamese adoptions. We hope in
early April there will be another large group of families
traveling to Vietnam! Three families are now only awaiting their
Giving & Receiving ceremony dates so they can also make their
travel arrangements to unite with their children. In late
February, four families also completed their adoptions in
Vietnam and arrived home anew.
Children?s Hope International?s
Vietnam program received a referral for a 16-month-old boy for
one happy American family on March 20. The infant boy is from
Picasso orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City. Congratulations to this
family! Additional families will receive referrals once the
child?s medicals are completed, in early April.
We are SO delighted to announce that
Truong Ni, the little HIV positive child on our waiting list,
has been placed with her forever family. She has been on our
waiting list for more than a year and we just kept praying for
her to have a home soon. Our prayers have been answered and we
are so excited for her new family. Congratulations!

?Ben is doing great,? says
mom Kelly of her son adopted from Vietnam in September 2007.
When Ben turned 4 years old in February, it was quite a
celebration, but he has even more to celebrate now.
?Today is six months since our G&R,
so that's very exciting,? shares Kelly. ?He is thriving in his
pre-school and is doing new stuff every day. He's been such an
amazing addition to our family and we couldn't love him more!?
