A small army of over 260
families in 45 states makes up CHAPS (Children?s Hope
Associate Partners). These volunteers act as a reference
family for Children?s Hope, sharing their adoption story and
experiences with people in their state.
?We have had
three families decide to adopt after attending a meeting
with us. I am very proud to be able to help bring families
together.?
~ Yvonne McCutcheon, MO CHAPS
CHAPS families are a welcome
local source of support to those making the decision for
international adoption. Some of our volunteers hold adoption
information meetings, sharing with inquiring prospective
parents their own adoption story. This dynamic and dedicated
group hosted a total of 52 meetings in 2007, with over 300
people attending.
?It is so fun
to watch other families begin that beautiful journey!?
~ Dale Powers, TN CHAPS
Our volunteers have drawn on
their creative talents to create library displays as well,
and some have attended adoption fairs representing
Children?s Hope.
I?m so proud of each one of
them. They are making a real difference in the lives of
others, by making the dream of a family a reality for both
parents and children. They are truly a blessing to
Children?s Hope in our mission to bring Hope to Children?

Orphan Ministries was created to be the
bridge between churches and the 143 million orphans around
the world. We are honored to say THANK YOU to the 297
families across the country who are starting Orphan
Ministries in their churches and communities.
?Last Sunday, many people in our church took home an
(Orphan Tree of Hope) ornament. I just want to thank
Children?s Hope for the opportunity to be able to help
orphans in this way.?
~ Christy Hammersley, CHURPS
There were 98 Churches that participated in the
Orphan Tree of Hope Project. Through this project thousands
of dollars has been raised specifically for ORPHAN CARE!
Numerous children were also sponsored through our Orphan
Sponsorship Program because of Church Outreach!
Through Orphan Ministry programs, orphans are now going
to school, having warm lunches, surgery, fresh water from
wells, and are feeling LOVED! This fall, over 50 meetings,
displays, tables, car washes, talks, dinner parties, and
concerts took place across the country!
