Traveling: Eleven families
from Children's Hope International's February referral group and
14 waiting children families are currently traveling in China,
successfully completing their adoptions. All 25 of these
families will return home Thursday, April 10 through Saturday,
April 12, depending on their child's province. These families
have been having a great time, enjoying their large travel
group, bonding with their children and their children's friends,
and seeing all the local sites in China. See this month's Blog(s!)

Referrals: Seven families
across the nation received happy news on April 4 - China
referrals! Each of these referrals were for a beautiful little
girl from the Jiangxi province. Six of these infants are 7 to
9.5 months, and one is 3 ? years old.
Their new families waited 27 long
months from their paperwork log-in-date to this special referral
day, and will now travel to complete their Chinese adoptions in
approximately 8 weeks. Congratulations!
This month's referrals were for our
families with a 1/6/06 log-in-date. Children's Hope
International's next family log-in-dates are 1/13/06 and
1/16/06. Children's Hope also has the following Chinese
expedited log-in-date families that are awaiting referrals -
11/14/06 and 11/27/06.
We received official referrals for
two of our waiting children families on April 4; and for seven
of our families, on March 26! Congratulations to them also!
Waiting Time: The China
Center of Adoption Affairs has previously stated that the wait
from log-in-date to referral could grow to 4 years. For our
Chinese expedited families the wait will also grow over time and
could reach 18 to 24 months.
