COLOMBIA PROGRAM UPDATES

Families are currently in Colombia to adopt:

Siblings: 4-year-old sister and her 2-year-old brother from Cundinamarca
Twin sisters (10 months old) from Monter�a with special needs
Baby girl from Bucaramanga
A boy and his two sisters, 5, 4 and 2-years-old from Bogot�

Assignments & Traveling Soon:

17-month-old baby girl from Cundinamarca
Baby boy for a Colombian family from C�cuta
10-year-old girl from Neiva
20-month-old baby girl from Monter�a
5-year-old girl from Medellin
Sibling group of four (ages 10, 7, 5 and 3), three girls and a boy, from Cundinamarca

We now have 11 families with dossiers in regional offices, awaiting assignment! In addition, we have another 10 families with dossiers being reviewed in Colombia that have asked for older children, sibling groups, or who were born in Colombia that should be sent out soon to regional offices.

We are definitely busy in the Colombia program! It's exciting to have so much going on. Please say a prayer for those who are trying to get all the details to fall into the right places before they travel.

"I think it happened inside of five seconds. Rena and I saw their picture for the first time and they went from being total strangers to being the most beautiful children in the world!" says new father Nate Duewel of the moment he saw his four children's pictures. "They immediately stole our hearts. We were hooked for life. We were theirs and they were ours." These beautiful children - Alex, 6, Sebastian, 5, Erika, 3, and Luisa, 2 - were adopted from Colombia in November 2007 and now call Kansas home.
