VIETNAM PROGRAM UPDATES
Making the Connection:
Families Traveling to Vietnam
During May, Children’s Hope
had 10 families travel to adopt from Vietnam. Included
in that group were two families who both have a very
personal connection to the children they adopted. You
can read the AP article about these two families who are
sharing a Vietnam adoption heritage with their new
children.

Four more families took off
June 1 for adoptions in Ho Chi Minh City. Most families
have been finalizing their Vietnamese adoption travel in
around two weeks.

Tami Herman and her father-in-law watch on as
Tami’s new daughter is loved on by relatives
and friends at their homecoming from her and
husband Jason’s Vietnam adoption trip, May 15.
Tami and her daughter will share this bond, as
she herself was escorted from Vietnam through
the same St. Louis airport to be adopted by her
Missouri parents. A big heart-felt
congratulations to the Hermans!
