COLOMBIA PROGRAM UPDATES
Colombia Sibling
Groups Placed Quickly in Loving Homes
Children’s Hope Colombia
program is bustling along with sibling groups being
assigned as quickly as the family’s dossier reaches
Colombia. We currently have three families in country,
adopting an infant boy, siblings 6, 4 & 3, and siblings
5, 3 & 2. Two more families leave soon: one for an
18-month-old girl with special needs, and another for a
sibling group of four, ages 9, 8, 7 & 5. We have several
dossiers in Colombia now for sibling groups of three so
we expect assignments for them soon!
So far this year, 24
children have come home.
We are looking forward to
the various picnics being held around the country and
especially the one in St. Louis where people can bring
their children to visit with other Colombian children
and show off all those beautiful smiles!

This smiling 16-month-old John Weston officially
became a Missourian last December when he came
home from Colombia. “It has been a tradition in
our family to name the firstborn son after the
mother’s father. God saw fit to provide us with
a Juan, which is Spanish for John,” and is his
grandfather’s name, too. For Tina and husband
Dan, John is “truly a blessing.”
