VIETNAM PROGRAM UPDATES
Tet Comes with Good News!
Congratulations to
all the families that received referrals! We received five
healthy referrals this February 7th from three different
orphanages: Tam Binh1, Picasso in HCMC, and the Kien Giang
orphanage. The referrals were for three boys and two girls
ranging in age from six weeks to two years old. We do expect to
receive more referrals shortly but are waiting for more medical
information.
Welcome home to
all of our traveling families! Our next group traveling to
Vietnam will not leave until after the Tet holiday. We have
travel dates for six families to travel the week after Tet
already and hope to receive more travel dates for families soon!
In addition we are
very excited to announce several new waiting children. If you
are a family with an approved form I-171H, you will be able to
view these special children.
In their
home in Illinois: Mindee Miller holding her happy son,
10-month-old Lucas James. Lucas was adopted in August
2006 from Vinh Long, Vietnam. Mindee and Lucas will be
featured in the Vietnam Newsletter in March.
