Well believe it or not but we celebrated our 3 year Family Anniversary on April 22nd. Time has flown! The kids are doing great.

Von (Fabian-14) has 1 1/2 days of 7th grade left, he has been on the honor role all year (only 1 ESL class) and ran track (800M and 1600M). He did really well and enjoyed himself. It was great to finally find a sporting event he enjoys. Von has definitely become a typical teenager, parents and family are not that cool right now. He is going to read up and try to get his driver's permit at the end of the summer.

Behr (Alberto-7) will be in 2nd grade next year. He loves math and has become a pretty good little reader. Behr is ALL boy (just had his first black eye from playing football) and loves all sports. He just finished soccer, is currently playing baseball, has wrestling camp this summer and then football & soccer again in the fall. He keeps the entire family busy!

Andy (Andrea-5) cannot wait to start Kindergarten in the fall. She is going to go all day because she loves the environment so much. She can make friends with anyone, loves dress-up, make-up, gymnastics and soccer. My social butterfly also thinks she needs to find someone in the neighborhood to play with or have a play date! She cut her beautiful hair off in February, but it is growing back pretty fast. Of all the kids she likes animals the best, which is good because we now have 2 dogs, a cat and an iguana.

Shawn and I will never be able to thank CHI enough for our family. We have some friends currently in the process of adopting from Colombia through CHI and watching them begin the process brings everything back.
